Dr. Jameela Jifri
General Dentist and lead dentist at Huron Dental Centre
Dr. Jifri’s practice experience dates back to 1995. She applies a passion for excellence and attention to detail to every treatment – restorative or cosmetic. Dr. Jifri is known for a compassionate chairside manner that calms even the most nervous patient. She takes time to get to know her patients, understanding their needs and desires, to provide optimal treatment. She practices with genuine consideration, and an ethical belief in delivering high-quality care that provides long-term benefits.
Well-established membership in the Ontario Dental Association and participation in a variety of continuing education courses helps Dr. Jifri stay up to date in the fast-changing field of dentistry. She believes patients deserve the benefits of this current knowledge.

Dr. Savita Singh
Orthodontist at Huron Dental Centre
Dr. Singh attended the University of Toronto for undergrad and completed her dental and orthodontic specialty degrees in Washington D.C and New Jersey respectively.
Dr. Singh specializes in conventional orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics and growth and development. She is trained in traditional braces as well as clear aligner therapy.
When Dr. Singh is not in the office she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and kitten Fig!

Dr. Aatika Ahmed
General Dentist at Huron Dental Centre
Dr. Ahmed was born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa, ON. She completed her dental education (D.M.D) at Mcgill University. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction and Master of Science (MSc.) degree at University of Ottawa. Dr. Ahmed has received various awards throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies including Dean’s Honour list, Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), Queen Elizabeth’s Scholarship in Science and Technology (OGSST), University of Ottawa’s Dean’s Scholarship and University of Ottawa’s Excellence scholarship. She is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
Dr. Ahmed believes in patient-centered dentistry and providing quality dental care to her patients. Her goal is to gain patient’s trust and make them feel comfortable. Dr. Ahmed enjoys working with patients of all ages. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ahmed enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

The Team
Ann-Marie
Office Manager
Ann-Marie is a graduate of Everest College, and is a Level 2 Certified Dental Assistant. She applies extensive experience in office management and dental reception, and a naturally warm personality, to keep the office running smoothly. Ann-Marie is known for eagerness to share knowledge with patients and answer their questions.
In her off-duty hours, Ann-Marie loves to read, cook, and travel.
Dominique
Reception
Dominique was born and raised in Toronto her background is Trinidadian and Venezuelan. She’s held down a multitude of jobs with administrative background before she ended up in the Dental Clinic. Dominique loves welcoming patients to our office and assisting with their day to day needs regarding their treatment plans. She thoroughly enjoys her variety of tasks that her job offers. What she loves most about her job is the HDC team they are kind, dedicated and hardworking. In her personal life she loves to spend quality time with her family. When she’s at home you can always find her in the kitchen trying out new recipes. Dominique is obsessed with YouTube Videos.
Krista
Reception/Dental Assitant
Krista loves helping others. That passion led her to become a Level 2 Dental Assistant graduate of Everest College. At Huron Dental Centre, the academic knowledge helps her run front desk operations and assist patients. Her role is to make sure they are comfortable and happy at checkout.
Krista’s spare time is spent in the company of her family and dog. She is also an accomplished drummer!
Tara
Reception
Tara loves to interact and make every patient feel valuable and important. She listens to their needs and tries her best to accommodate what works best for them, scheduling and or making options for payments to make things easier. She goes over and beyond to get the information that patients need. Tara has over 18-years of customer service care experience and has been a dental receptionist for over two-years. She loves what she does, which is to put smiles on patients’ faces before they leave the office.
Tara loves to spend most of her spare time with her friends and family. She enjoys cooking and going for walks, and spending time with her son outdoors.
Fabiola
Dental Hygienist
Fabiola loves helping and educating patients on the importance of overall health and its connection to oral health. Fabiola had been in a dental field for over 20 years. She started as a dental assistant level l in 2000. In 2004 she graduated as a level ll dental assistant. In 2009 she graduated as a dental hygienist. Since then, she has continued to take continuing education courses like orthodontists to help her patients better. She always strives to do the best for her patients. Fabiola’s spare time is spent with her wonderful kids, family, and friends, gardening, and reading.
Marisa
Dental Assitant
Marisa was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and came to Canada at a very young age. She grew up in the diverse and multicultural city of Toronto. Marisa received her diploma at Medix College as a Dental Assistant Level II. She first started working as a dental receptionist after high school and fell in love with the idea of helping others enjoy their smile. As a dental assistant, she found a way to help patients smile as well as help them meet their oral health goals at every visit. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.
